I was under the impression that it was, but today in Kingston-Upon-Thames I saw a lady on her phone pulled over by the police while they were doing a car-tax check, and literally 30 seconds later she was on her way again.

And no, she was using a hands-free kit, she was holding the phone up to her ear.

So, can someone please explain the current situation?

I want to know how the ITs extract websites and webpages that was visited on someones computer without even coming to the person's computer.
For example, i was queried for going to some websites on the internet that's not partaining to my work aspect. The IT department are the one who extracted the websites that i visited and gave it to me supervisor, how did they do that? And how can i stop them from getting it in the future?? Is it stoppable/blockable??

I would like to check that they have recevied the above documents.

How should i contact them?

If by telephone, should i literally ask:

"Could i speak with your HR department please?

(they put me through)

"Yes hi, could i please check that you have received my CV and covering letter please, my name is joe blogs..."

The local Public Defenders office here in Florida has application for criminal indigent status to see if defendants qualify for a Public Defender and the applications are in both english and spanish...but they insist that the spanish form is to be used for translation purposes only and that the english version MUST be filled out because there's a Florida Statute stating that when the application for indigent status is recorded (for public record) it MUST be in english. Do you know if this is true and what the Florida Statute number is?

The little smiley icons do not show up in Q/A I see the marks for them, but not the icons. Is it just my set-up or Y's Q/A? I get them everywhere else on the yahoo sites.
