Same as you know if there is a cat. You would see god, hear god, possibly touch god. God would be tangible and not something you have to accept simply on faith.

Every day I wake. Every time I look at the sky. Every blessing and every miracle in my life or the life of someone else. I can see by faith that there is a God.
People try to test God by saying prove to me that you exist. God is our father. Everytime our earthly parents do something they don't owe us an explanation as to why ... so, why do people expect God to prove that He's real. At the same time, when God gives people what they need to see, they are selfish and still want more from God. He's given us everything is left for us to either believe by faith or not. God is not a play toy. By the way, this statement goes to an "answerer" below me.
By the way, it's there's.

I figure that if there was a god and he wanted me to know he exists, he'd know enough to be able to convince me that he exists. Of course, if there was a god that didn't want be to know he existed, he'd probably be able to do that, too.
So far, I am unconvinced that any gods exist.
Therefore,
1) There are no gods.
2) There is a god, but he's hiding for whatever reason.

I have been to hell
-in an orphanage.
-in a war.
-in a Domestic Violence Shelter.
-in Prison.
-in a soup line/kitchen.
-in an addiction.
-at a child's casket.
-at the fists of a parent.
-at the mercy of the unmeciful.
I have been to hell.
I did not see God there.
Where is this God you speak of?
Peace.

Because killing millions of people in the name of "God" when there isn't actually a God would be stupid and pointless. Therefore, God exists, right?

is amazing how it’s human nature to assume that because we believe or don’t believe something, that makes it true. Some may not believe in the law of gravity, and may feel they have "evidence" to back up their belief. However, gravity exists whether they believe in it or not. The truth is, God is knowable. Jesus testified, "And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent" (John 17:3). We not only have the testimony of the Scriptures to tell us this, but we have the testimony of multitudes of Christians who know the Lord personally. It is more truthful to say, "I don’t want to know God." Sinful man runs from Him as did Adam in the garden of Eden.

You look for yourself. The Bible says when you seek me you'll find me when you seek me with all your heart. If we look for God-we'll find Him- but it's that "all your heart" kinda search that we have to do.
