Is it just me or is there an odd similarity between children believing in santa claus, and adults believing in a God? If you are good, santa will bring you presents (God will let you into heaven), if you are bad, you get coal in your stocking (you get sent to hell).

I was injured several years ago on the job. I was getting partial SSI and workers comp. My son who lives with mother, was getting partial SSI and I paid the difference in child support as per our divorce decree, each year when the amout of SSI went up the total I paid went down, wife immediately remarried, the guy was on Social Security and she went and added my son to his SS and didn't tell me. I have been paying the same difference for years, I just found out when my workers comp case was settled and had to contact SS I asked about my son's benefits I was told I was not a contact for the ss # I gave her,she also had me removed as a contact for his SS benefits. Is it legal to do this? We have shared custody of my child.

Just bored and wondering, I am a 25 year old black male. I was raised in a military background. I LOVE women. It doesnt matter if your black white, asian. whatever. A pretty face is universal. I know some peole dont agree, but it seems most people my age grew up in a time, when interacial dating was being seen more. And know I know a lot of interacial couples who are in serious relationships... Just wondering what everyone else thinks about it. My sister has two kids, one approx 6 months and the other 11 yrs old, by two different men. While I love my sister, her choices both in men and in life have been anything but healthy. I love her kids like they are my own, and I want whats best for them and while she is trying to be a good mom, she always lets the a**hole father back into her life and the cycle starts all over again and I know its none of my business but I dont know what else to do to keep her kids away from them. If childs protective services gets involved, does she lose her kids completely, or can a relative take them in? Id be more than happy too, but Im afraid she wont let me or my parents, just out of spite.

Ok so I'm getting the hint that my relationship with my ex is never going to work. It's all one sided (she does whatever she wants, if I bring up the past it's blown out of proportion but if she does it's fine, hangs up on me expecting me to call back and etc.) I'm a sweetheart and I've had a hot 38 year old tell me this that I'm a hottie and I have a great personality. Thankfully my ex moved out of state so I don't have to run into her, but my question is. When I date another girl and she finds out, how do I tell her that I don't want to be with her without sounding like an a55? She wants me to be one and gets me to the point where I am so she has some leverage in an argument. How do I just rid of her? I want to move away so when she does come back she'll never find me. This is a situation of be who you were or stay out of my life for good. Any suggestions. I don't want to be looked at as someone I'm not.
