any advice? (other than get off yahoo!answers and get to work)

i'm not on any drugs and i don't drink or anything.

Me too! Make a time schedule for yourself and block out hours of the day to do things. Give yourself more time than you think you need to complete assignments. That should help. Also, find out how you focus: do you like constant background noise or no noise at all. That should help.I have ADHD and working with a consistent backgroud noise works for me.

There are some different things you can try, the best thing I've come across o help are these little tinctures called bach flower remedies. There is a web site for them, and they go thru and ask you questions to determine which one would be of most use for you. You can find them at a health food store, and they are about $12 a bottle, but you only go thru about 10 drops at a time.

Find a place with NO distractions. Nothing...like the library.

Never go to places with computers that can be freely accessed. (computers are the most common distractions next to TVs)

In many cases, it is because there are life issues that you haven't resolved. Sometimes you're not even aware of those issues.

I found out that taking time to exercise made the remaining time very productive, and I got lots more done in the remaining time than if I tried to work w/o working out.

Allocate a time for everything and do it then no matter what.

When you almost get obsessive-compulsive, get off that routine. ;)
