Just bored and wondering, I am a 25 year old black male. I was raised in a military background. I LOVE women. It doesnt matter if your black white, asian. whatever. A pretty face is universal. I know some peole dont agree, but it seems most people my age grew up in a time, when interacial dating was being seen more. And know I know a lot of interacial couples who are in serious relationships... Just wondering what everyone else thinks about it. I guess I am biased because, like I say, I have dated all kinds of women.

There was a question about this last night. My response was, I'm white, it is my preference to date white. That's is for me, my opinion about myself. Whomever anyone else chooses to date is their decision, sobeit. I have no opinion on who other people date. Frankly, it's not my business.

I am a 28 year old white woman and also have dated many different races. I don't feel that race is a priority when choosing either a life partner or just a friend or someone to hang out with or date.Race should be irrelevant in all respects. My father on the other hand, did not agree! He grew up in a completely different time and did not agree to interracial relationships of any kind.
My dad once asked me why I like to date black men, or puerto rican men and I told him "Dad, I just like men, and I choose the guys I date according to how they treat me."
I guess he took that to heart because he never really seemed like he cared what race my boyfriends were after that.

I have since grown up and married a man who is a product of an interracial marriage. He is half white and half black. My dad never got to meet him, but I know he would have loved him.

Everyone has their own opinion on the subject. Good for them. But for me. I was taught we are all people-children of God. If you ask a black man or white man, indian, asian to cut a finger what color blood would they have? Its red! I am also a beautiful woman come from a marriage of German/Samoan parents. Who loves me very much. Mostly all my cousins are from a interacial marriages. We are okay! my parents taught us both cultures and I am grateful for both cultures. If people make comments (negative) I feel sorry for them-They are uncomfortable with their own identity. I believe marriage is hard enough with different culture/tradition added to it, BUT I am a firm believer if you found someone who loves you, respect you, willing to hold your hand thru ups and down. It doesnt matter what his culture. Mutual respect and have fun together are important.
Great question!

I don't feel other people have a right to judge. Really there is just one human race and the more people intermix, the less prejudice there will be in the future. It's a lot harder with people from different countries because you have less understanding, but if you have enough in common besides colour it should work. I'm racially mixed myself, so pretty well any relationship I have would be interracial I guess, or pre-mixed for convenience. :)

I'm a product of an interracial marriage, but I prefer African American men. My mom is Hispanic and white and my dad is black and Indian. There's nothing wrong with dating outside your race, but even today it's still looked down upon in many minds. Date who you want not because of society but because you're an individual with your own likes and dislikes.

If two people like each other, be it black and white, yellow , gay, staight, who cares? I don't understand people who get so upset about it. If you don't agree with it, don't do it and leave everyone else alone. It doesn't hurt you personally.

well i am in a relationship with a guy that is Mexican and i am black. but i don't wont my kids to date white girls because there are alots of stuff that is happen in my town and i don't wont my sons to get hurt because of it. but one of my son is trying to date a white girl and i don't like it at all but i know they are going to do whatever they want to do. but if my son end up marrying a white girl i would love her as if she was black. i don't dislike anyone until they give me a reason to dislike them. i try to let my sons know that there will be alots of problems if they date someone of another color. with me dating a Mexican i don't have to worry about no one burning a cross in my yard because they don't like who i am dating. but if my son date a white girl you will have problems like that. there was this guy that was dating a white girl and she told him to come to her house because her parents wasn't home and when he came there her parents showed up and the first thing that came out of that girl mouth was that he raped her. because she knew they would be mad at her for seen a black guy. and i don't wont my son to end up like that.
