I've recently begun running again (use to be quite active, but been sitting around the last few years) and get a pain below my knee at the top of my tibia. This pain isn't there when I run, swim or play sport. Its there when I bend the knees at night (evening). A friend of mine said it might be "jumpers knee"? Anybody know anything about it, How to cure it?

America’s Health Rankings™ – 2005 Edition shows Minnesota at the top of the list of healthiest states. Minnesota has been among the top two states since 1990. Vermont is ranked second this year and has consistently moved up in the rankings for the last five years. New Hampshire is number three, followed by Utah, Hawaii and North Dakota. Mississippi is 50th and the least healthy state, while Louisiana is 49th. Tennessee, South Carolina and Arkansas complete the bottom five states.

Minnesota is first this year, a position it has held for 10 of the 16 years since the 1990 Edition. Minnesota’s strengths include ranking first for a low rate of cardiovascular deaths, a low premature death rate and a low percentage of uninsured population. It is also in the top five states for a low percentage of children in poverty, a low total mortality rate, a low infant mortality rate, a low occupational fatalities rate, a low rate of motor vehicle deaths and a high rate of high school graduation. Minnesota’s biggest challenges are a high prevalence of smoking at 20.7 percent of the population, a high prevalence of obesity at 22.6 percent of the population and limited access to adequate prenatal care with 75.8 percent of pregnant women receiving adequate prenatal care.

Mississippi is 50th this year, down from 49th in the 2004 Edition. It has been in the bottom three states since the 1990 Edition. The state ranks well in all three health policy measures: 8th for access to adequate prenatal care, which is available to 81.8 percent of pregnant women; 11th for per capita public health spending, at $197 per person; and 14th for immunization coverage, with 84.0 percent of children ages 19 to 35 months receiving complete immunizations. It ranks in the bottom five states on nine of the 18 measures: a high premature death rate, a high infant mortality rate, a high total mortality rate, a high rate of cardiovascular deaths, a high percentage of children in poverty, a high prevalence of obesity, a high rate of motor vehicle deaths, a high occupational fatalities rate, and a high number of limited activity days. It also ranks in the bottom 10 states for two other measures.

Table 4 lists the score and ranking for each of the 50 states.

Scores presented in the tables indicate the percentage a state is above or below the national norm. For example, a state with a score of 20 is 20 percent above the national average for that component. A negative score means the state is below the national average. When comparing states from year to year, differences in score are more important than changes in ranking.

I am Christian. I love GOD sooo much.I also believe that everyone has a right to believe what they want without someone saying nasty things to them. I also would like to know, how is it that some of you KNOW your church is the right one and some of you KNOW this person is going to burn in hell for eterinity. The only person that knows these things for sure is GOD.One thing I do know is, Im not thinkin all this fighting is what he had in mind.I used to dislike Muslims basically because of ignorance. But I respectfully talked to them and found they are very devoted to GOD.I know this will sound dorky, but why can't we all just get along?

My niece has been a diabetic since she was 2 years old, and she has asked for homemade candy for christmas because she does not get it any other time of year. She is totally insulin dependant and has recently started useing splenda instead of other sugar substitutes and it seems to work better for her with less side affects than the others. Thanks.

....you married your spouse because 1.they are beautiful, 2.you can trust them not to cheat on you, 3.you know they are madly in love with you, 4.they treat you like a king or queen, and although you married them for ALL these great reasons, you find out that you really don't or didn't love them in the same sense? It's like being in love with the way they love you, but not actually loveing them in the same way. What if you find or found out years down the road that you can't and don't connect to them, that there is no friendship there, and you really cant stand the type of person they are other than the way that they treat you?

What did or would you do?
Is this just being selfish and unappreciative?

Serious answers only please. Thanks.

I'm giving a speach in a few weeks.
Thesis: I will persuade the audience that the legalization of marijuana will help unburden an overstressed legal system, and also help the economy.

In my intro, I want to give a brief, unbiased history of marijuana. Every website i've checked is either a website that you have to pay to see, or done by a half informed "stoner". I just want some facts to base my introduction.
thanks

I think that I´m not good enough for him. He´s 2 years older than me, and he already have his own business. I´m just a business student with many familiar problems and I don’t want to damage him.

I am seeing a nutritionist...some weeks are good and some are just bad. I have a terrible craving for soda and chocolate, that seems impossible to give up (long term), I have done it short term but never permanently. I've worked out before and never lost any weight and get very easily disappointed and give up. I've never had a lot of energy. I normally need a minimum of 8-9 hours of sleep just to be productive. The only "diet" anything that ever worked was a prescription medication called "Ionamin" it worked like a miracle. I had just the right amount of energy and I lost weight (30 pounds), with no side effects! But then my doctor said he had to take me off because it was only a temporary medication and I gained it right back. I've been going to the nutritionist ever since but it's just not working. I don't know what to do. I'm happy when I eat what I want, but then I'm not happy when I see the results of what I ate a week later. PLEASE HELP!
