Granted, I was late a couple times, but I try to be a model student otherwise. I just have absolutely NO interest in the subject.

Your last statement (I think is the root of the problem). Your not having a real interest in the subject matter has been picked up by your teacher. He perceives that you are a lost cause, so he will not give you the benefit of the doubt. If you are a high schooler, you will just have to knuckle down and try to get a grip to show some interest or he will make your life a living H*LL. Ask some intelligent questions about the subject to display to him that you have had a turn - you should see a turnaround if he is reasonable. If you are going to college, drop the class or ask to be transferred to another class where you can complete the work without harrassment (some high schools even have this as a possibility).

I found that the best way to resolve this kind of situation is face to face. Ask if you can talk to him after school one day, (providing you don't take the bus). When you arrive to talk, don't have an attitude as if YOU are the one whose right. maybe he thinks you don't like him and are purposely doing it to "push" his buttons. Understand that he's in a position that if lets you off the hook for being late, he has to let everyone off. So, try hashing it out without being defensive. I would even start off by apologizing, saying something like "I apologize if I have had a bad attitude lately.." You don't need to kiss his a**, just romance it a little. It's going to be a long year if you don't.

No, and that i by no potential might, it quite is not in my nature to hold onto very own vendettas. I comprehend that each person is a sufferer in some way or yet another in any different case they does no longer do what it quite is that i might have a private vendetta against them for.

you sound like a typical british school going kid...whining about rubbish. its probably you who's the problem, because as an ex teacher myself, its this sorta neurotic crap that kids think up when THEY'RE causing problems in certain classrooms cause they have no interest in the subject.
if you have no interest, you probably try your darndest to disrupt the lesson, how do you justify your saying you're a model student other than being late?? i'm keen to know.
you probably dont do the work and get detentions as a result (teachers do this as routine because if we dont give detentions when homework is not done, WE have to answer to the head of department or school principal WHY we dont follow the school policy).
Do you expect your teacher to take the rap for your crap?

If you really feel this way, talk to your school's guidance counselor. Find out if you can switch classes to get a different teacher.

this is the problem with the school system today..shut up do your work...learn something instead of trying to get out if it or sue your teacher or whine and complain.
life is unfair..even if your teacher did have soemthign against you i am sure you deserve it so tough it out

just try to fly under her/his radar.

If you think you are being unfairly graded, give copies of your papers to another teacher, and ask them their opinions on how it should be graded. Don't tell them who your teacher is.

switch classes. if you can't do that, at least try to appear interested in the subject and stop being late.

I had this about 20 years ago, and there is nothing you can do, except just be in his class.

do the best that you can. and if he still bothers you then you need to tell someone who is higher than him that he isnt being a good teacher. your trying and he is just being negative.
