I've had a few stressful weeks at work, and my home situation was stressful too (my gf was taking medicine for breast cancer which made her edgy and depressed, and I broke up the contact with my family). Last week I had a week off from work, to rest, but I got the flu, which ususally happens when I've been experiencing stress).
Since last friday my heart beats very loud, and faster than is usual. I can't sleep because of that. Because of the high heartrate I'm irritable and edgy, and I get angry very easily, which is very unlike me.
I'm very worried I'm having a sort of physical panic attack, and could use some advice on how to deal with it. I've tried cutting down coffee and cigarettes, but that doesn't do the trick.
