hey, Daniel, Christians believe Jesus is god, catholics believe in the father, Jews and Jehovah witnesses believe in Jehovah, Muslim's believe in Allah,Hindu's believe in lord Vishnu, hare Krishna's believe in Krishna also known as the ninth incarnation of Vishnu from the Vishnu tattva, in other words Vishnu but a different form. Buddhists don't believe in god, but more of becoming one with all, mayavadi's believe they are god, and atheists believe in no god.
so this is basically what some people believe to be their god or their belief to be in a way of god, they might argue and say their god is right and the others are wrong, but that's not in the question and it's up to you whether you believe in god or not or if you want to better understand what other groups of people are believing or worshipping,

Muslims believe in One God and One God only. The same God that Jews and Christians beleive in that created our entire universe.

NOT the true believers. True believers including all the 1.6 Billions Muslim present on the phase of the planet and all the creatures of the ONLY ONE GOD. Mary (peace be upon her PBUH) is the mother of prophet Jesus (peace be upon him).
This is the how GOD describes HIMSELF in HOLY QURAN chapter 112.
[112:0] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
[112:1] Proclaim, "He is the One and only GOD.
[112:2] "The Absolute GOD.
[112:3] "Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten.
[112:4] "None equals Him."
NO ONE can challenge this. Except ISLAM, all other religions on the phase of this planet including their so called human gods cannot fit in this category.

Muslims and Jews believe in one God Jehovah AKA Allah.
Christians believe in Jesus as God. some believe he's God's/Jehovah/Allah's son.

Christian word come from Christ who is Jesus. Christian believe in Father, Son(Jesus), and Holy Spirit.
Father is Creator as well as Jesus and Holy Spirit. (example: You are a children in a house, secretary in the office, husband in your own-family. Still the same YOU)
Son (Jesus) who forgive people's sins. Salvation is from Him and anyone who believe in Jesus will enter HEAVEN.
Holy Spirit is God as it gives people wisdom to keep their faith in Jesus as Son and Lord Father.

I was raised Catholic, consider myself Christian, but realize as long as I have a personal connection with God Jesus, I don't need to be in any religion.
