I need help from the adult ladies out there, it would be greatly appreciated. I need to know how to read this situation so I don’t make an a** of myself tomorrow (I’m 30, and this girl is 34, neither of us have ever been married). I went out with this girl twice, the last time was a year and a half ago. The first time we went out things went ok and we made plans to go out again. Then one of her longtime friends got in the way and they began seeing each other. She lives one hour away from me so it would have been a long distance relationship. She broke up with him a few months later. We went out again shortly thereafter. I went to see her. At the end of the date, she said that she would have to come down to see me next time. she had indicated previously that the distance turns her off because she has to drive 45 minutes everyday to work and that was what was precluding her from starting a relationship with me.. It’s really complicated, but like an idiot I never asked her down because I kept coming back to the “she doesn’t like the distance thing so she isn’t really interested”. I didn’t want to have to deal with the rejection because she is an awesome girl and I could have seen myself falling hard for her and then end up hurt. If I missed my chance with her I’ll never forgive myself. Here’s the thing. We’ve kept in touch consistently for the last year and a half and email nearly daily (sometimes to the point of excessive since we are both at work!). Sometimes about absolutely nothing at all, but other times about life and what’s happening in each of our lives. Over this time I’ve begun to realize that I have some serious feelings for her, like she might be THE ONE. Back in January I realized this and I asked her out to lunch but she said that she had started seeing someone and “didn’t think it would be fair for all of us involved” to get together. So we went on like usual. I casually mentioned to her about a month ago that I had started seeing somebody (I’m not anymore but she doesn’t know that), and she immediately responded by suggesting that we needed to get together sometime. She is planning on coming down to my town to do some shopping and wanted to get together with me afterwards. Today, she mentioned that she’d like to switch up the schedule though, that she wants to see me first then do the shopping later. Can you give me your interpretation of the situation? Am I in the dreaded “friend zone” or is there a chance she is waiting to see my reaction and if I still have interest? I need the female perspective. Thanks in advance for your help, I am an absolutely pathetic mess

I have a 7 year old daughter and a 8 year old step-daughter, so I have not done this pregnancy thing for along time. I am currently 17 weeks preg. with a boy =) I started feeling the butterfly movements at 15 wks. and now I feel the baby kicking. Well at the U/S eveything measured a wk later (18 wks). The doc says I am only 17 wks, but there has been a problem figuring the duedate, I am due Mar. 27- April 27. They are going with April 1st as the due date, so I am wondering if everything is going right for only being 17 weeks, is it normal to feel baby kicking at 17 weeks? Any help would be greatful and thankful. It has been along time and I can not remember my pregnancy 7 years ago.

I recently had a problem with my Acer laptop which fortunately for me was still under the factory warranty of 1 yr, parts and labor. I know my Platinum Visa has a program which doubles the mfr. warranty on most items I'm sure there are exclusions but I don't believe computers or laptops are excluded? Has anyone ever had a problem with something you bought no longer in the mfr. warranty period and used this program with any success?

How long was the turnaround time between calling and getting your items repaired? I would be interested in knowing, the one I have says to make a copy of your receipts and send them the originals and then when you have a problem you call them to get them involved with the mfr. and getting the item repaired.

well he is the manager and not store owner...(owner is a good man but i hardly gets to see him)and this guy finds it funny that i am dedicated and commited to my job....he s rude in front of customers...once in a blue moon he gives me a compliment or so but most of the time he tells me...oh dont bother mini...thats not the way it works..people will rip you apart ...
now i truly dont understand how can he even try to make me feel bad about my basic work ethics.....just to make things more clear ..other day store was really busy i was about to finish my shift but i saw the long queue and ppl exchanging glances so i stepped in n stayed for 1/2 hr ...when i was about to leave and he came to me n said 'oh you are still here.now i ll have to pay u extra for 1/2hr.i know u were trying to do good thing but thats not how it works'.he was furious.

i felt very bad.should i be more detached from this store or shall i just quit or ignoring his silly comments will cure the problem

I have had trust problems for a while. I have recently came back to God.

I have had some big issues going on "moving, hostile landlord..." and I have been putting my trust in the Lord. (Yes I have moments of non-trust) But God is working with me.

Things are working better and I am feeling more calm.

Do you love doing personality quizzes online or in magazines? I'm trying to put together a multiple choice personality quiz to analyze the different preferences people have. I will be issuing it to people working in different careers, to see how their preferences compare.

I'm going for things like:

What kind of wine do you prefer?
a) white
b) red
c) rose.

But it can cover all subject areas from personalities to food choices to romance.

Can anyone come up with some question suggestions, cos I'm starting to run out of ideas!

A question was posed about convicted killer Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker), and the fact he has been on death row 20 years.

Some of the answers puzzled me. For or against, if the sentence is death, should it not be carried out? Capital Punishment was originally designed as a deterrent to crime - how is 20 years (as in this case) of free room and board, clothing, etc a deterrent?

What I want to know is - why are you for or against the death penalty. Lengthy answers encouraged - this is not a one sentence question.

I am 9 1/2 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound at my first doctors appointment to confirm pregnancy which I measured 6 weeks and 5 days, they said I will not have another one until 18-22 weeks. I am very nervous and would like to have another one at around 12 weeks even if I have to pay for it myself. I even have cysts on my ovaries and they said not to worry about them that we will check them at the 18 week visit. How normal is this?
