First of all don't listen to anyone who tries to scare you into thinking there's something wrong with you or that there are "demons" at work. If you ever feel frightened, then you should talk to someone you trust, but as long as you're okay with it, don't worry.

Try to develop your psychic ability. The best way to do that is to read a self-help book or two on the subject. You could probably find a few at the library. Keep a diary and write down psychic impressions you have. Keep a dream journal too. There are great books about dreams that have psychic undertones.

One problem you might encounter is getting too deeply immersed in the psychic world. It's great to develop your gifts, but at 14 you should be enjoying life as much as you can, so my advice would be to make the ESP pursuits an occasional hobby.

Good luck!

I would need to know more. For instance, have you or any member of your family been involved with spiritualism, magic or any other occult practise?

I had voices from the age of 7 to 21. I also had telepathy, precognition and did a number of things like astral projection and self hypnosis. If I had not been exorcised at 21, I would have been diagnosed and treated for psychosis and schizophrenia.

If you go to a doctor, you will probably be put on a course of drugs to control these voices. Some of the more powerful drugs can remain in the body for 10 years after coming off them. They also have some very nasty side effects.

I would first suggest you go to a Charismatic church and ask whether you need exorcism. It is not an unpleasant experience. When I was exorcised it was like my mind being filled with a blue white light, and I felt totally care-free. The relief I had afterwards, with no more voices (no more psychic abilities either), was fantastic.

There are voices and there is THE VOICE. Learn to tell the difference. THE VOICE is that of your true spiritual self and the voices are anything from discarnate entities, "souls of the departed", to thoughts and memories in your surrounding environment. The voices might mean well and have benevolent intentions but they do not know much more than you do. You can't learn anything from the voices. Always listen to THE VOICE, never to the voices.

THE VOICE never flatters you. It never tells you you have some special gift that sets you apart from the rest of humanity (of course everyone's unique and has a special purpose but that's not what I mean. You know flattery when you hear it).

Never listen to a voice that tells you what to do. If THE VOICE wants to give you guidance in a situation, it does so by giving you a general principle or an eternal lesson, which is very appropriate to gain success in that situation but in many other similar situations as well.

One cannot open up to spiritual things without opening up
to unwanted things as well. All these anxiety disorders today
are due to peoples nervous systems breaking down from
sensory overloads, (sights and sounds), and their ability to BLOCK OUT unwanted things is eroding.
They are picking up on the energies of others. Not wanting to "believe", much less understand these things, is making them nuts!
We need to build shields.
Imagine a light of protection all around you, in your minds eye, (third eye). Speak OUT LOUD, using the power of the Spoken
Word, and ask the Highest Power for guidance and
protection.
This not only gives one a psychological advantage. It works
too!

Try listening to the voices. Maybe have a chat with one of them. They may need you to help them cross over. If the voices scare you or try to make you do things that would hurt yourself or others then speak to a doctor because it may be schitzophrenia and not psychic ability.

Seek medical help. Hearing voices is not as uncommon as you may think, and there is a lot of support and treatment available.

either that or you're showing signs of schizophrenia or similar which often starts in your early teens. Check with your gp, if all's clear then you're ok and probably psychic.
