No, if you have short arms that is about right. If you have long arms (sleeve length longer than 36) then you are doing an amazing amount. Remember Archamedes principle about the length of the lever. People with longer arms can't curl as much weight as people with short arms because of the greater distance from the elbow.

Everyone is different. The more you carry on lifting the more you will be able to lift in the future. Start small and work your way up.
