proof for imaginary number problem?

j is an imaginary number i.e the sq root of -1 (it used to be denoted as "i" but "j" is more used now a days.
i was told sqrroot j or i = (1+j)/2

can some one prove this..?

Where can i sell my twins clothes?

I have lots off identical girls clothing from scratch mits to pink coats! I have tried to sell these on ebay but no one seemed interested. They are all matching and in cream and pink from sizes early baby to 3-6 months, and in very good cond. Any ideas???

Is abortion justified in the eyes of God because it "occurs naturally"?

Some say that "God uses abortion..." perhaps referring to a naturally occurring process of eggs being "aborted" during the process of a woman becoming pregnant or to abortions that occur naturally because of complications, etc that are not induced by man. But if you apply such an argument to abortion, must you not apply it to murder then as well? For consider that God allows people to die every day by way of natural events in life (not man-induced), as well as even commanded many to go to war and kill people under the Old Covenant. Does this then justify murder (or does it make God a hypocrite since He commands us not to murder but allows such deaths to occur)? I believe that we ought not be afraid of death, for it ultimately brings us closer to God, but who are we to stand in the place of God by determining who lives and who dies?

Why do Christians put so much faith in the Bible?

It was written by men not God. It was written about 200 years after Jesus died and has been re-translated numerous times. Even some hard core Christian Fundamentalists (like William Jennings Bryan) have admitted that it some of it does not make sense.

So why do people assume it's God's word? Who was the comedian who said "The Bible was written by a bunch of Jesus' friends, and you know how friends always mess up stories."

Even my professors (who are educated) claim that the Bible should never be used as a factual, history book. Why don't Christians keep an open mind and maybe just consider that it is not all 100% fact and should never be taken literally? Why does their faith depend on it?

Should I go to Europe right after I graduate from college in May or should I go this December?

I want to do something big in May because I'll be graduating from college- which is a HUGE milestone. My sister (who's graduating from High School) my mom and I were planning on going on a cruise to Mexico because we're both graduating. But I don't want to go somewhere with her because my graduation won't be on the same level as hers. So, should I go to Europe for summer 2007 instead, or should I go to Europe this December and go on the cruise with my family in May? How much will I need to do both trips?

little johnny is having trouble with his homework so he asks his dad for help?

dad he says, whats the difference between potentially and reality? His dad thinks for a moment then tells him to go ask his mother if she'd sleep with the milkman for 2 million pounds. johnny does so and comes back and says yes she would. ok says dad, now ask your sister if she'd sleep with the postman for 2 million pounds.johhny does so and comes back and says yes she would. well there's your answer son says dad, potentially we're sitting on 4 million pounds, in reallity we're living with a couple of whores.
