Do you have a consignment shop in your area? I took some of my kids clothes to one and made a little extra cash. It depends on the season and quality of your clothing, but usually you can sell baby (infant) stuff anytime. Try having a garage sale or placing an ad in your local paper. Also, maybe contact area churches to see if anyone in their congregation maybe having twins and would like to check out your baby clothing. Buying second hand clothing is always cheaper (and therefore better) when you have more than one child!

I'd still say Ebay is your best bet. Instead of just selling them bit by bit try selling them all together as a lot. I've seen people make a ton of money by selling their baby clothes in lots. Take attractive photos of the clothes (no wrinkles, clean, etc)..don't just throw them on the floor and photograph them (I've actually seen pics done like this on Ebay!). If you still don't sell them then all I can suggest is a garage or boot sale (depending on where you live) but I really don't think you'd make much money off of them in one of those. At the end of the day if all else fails take the clothes to a charity shop like Cancer Research. That's what I've done..I've packed some clothes away to keep and the rest have gone to charity. I'd like to think that a underpriviledged child is getting some use out of my baby's clothes.
Best of luck!

Ebay is great for selling all kinds of stuff, especially clothes. Or you could try your local newspaper.
If you are feeling generous you could donate them to a hospital. Children's wards always need clothes.

Did you have pictures on your ebay auction? These things usually sell great on Ebay. I would advise to try it one more time, but use a different approach.

if they are not selling and you're not desperate for the money maybe you donate the early baby clothes to your nearest hospital with a special care baby unit. if not try NCT nearly new sales if you are an NCT member.

I would say a garage sale or kids consignment shop. I have no idea what a car boot sale is so I can't suggest that.
