Is Chow Mein veggies and meat with crunchy noodles?

Lo mein are prepared with crunchy noodles; basically fried noodle with broth on top and chow mein is served with a softer noodle. Both are served with veggies and meat.

the answer to the Q depend on where u live. In asia chow mein is stir fried noodle ( Chow means fried in chinese) n lo mein is noodle mixed with sauce( Lo means mixed in chinese). In united stated it depend on where u lived n ur age. Older generation (40 yrs above) chow mein means shredded vegetable( chinese cabbage) cook to soft n served with white rice n crunchy fried noodle. Lo mein means stir fried noodle. For Younger generation chow mein means stir fried noodle( they never heard of Lo Mein).

Lo mein are boiled noodles and chow mein are fried noodles (actually boiled then fried).

Either can be made with meat or vegatables or both.
