what the best techniques for writing a book? I've completed a character and i have already written six pages in my daily journal. But i am afraid of having my story stray away as it usually does. I've been writing for quite a while now but i've never completely finished any of my work. My stories always seems to stray away from the main topic and, or they usually end not how i planned.

ok here is my situation. About 2 years ago I left my abusive excuse of a man. while we were married I co-singed a car loan with him, as well other credit cards. The car was his, and after I left he lost/left his job, car got repo'ed.
Per the divorce agreement we agreed that we would both file for bankruptcy....(which is a whole different question...how do you find a bankruptcy attorney if your low income)...we both have yet to file for bankruptcy.
About 2 mths ago I go a summons saying I had to reply, I forwarded to my lawyer, his office told me they would reply- they did not reply, and will not repond to my letters. I have been out of work for the last 3 months, and have not paid him yet...so I am guessing that is why I have not heard from me...
my question is what can I expect in court regarding the car payment. They send my ex a letter to be there, but they don't have is correct address, What is going to happen? I am a single mom with no job, and no money..am I going to jail?

To dispell the obvious first question, I'm writing from someone else's computer.

My computer died after I did several updates all in one day so I don't know which it was. I updated Norton, Office, and Yahoo IM. But the real question isn't which did it.

It won't boot AT ALL. It does a beep sequence (5,1,2,3) and the lights in the back (YYGG) both indicate a memory R/W error. It is a Dell Dimension 8200 if that is important. I pulled and reseated the memory and have tried all sorts of other things (unplugging and waiting before I plug back in, etc).

First off, is there any reason to believe that investing in new memory modules would solve this problem? I wonder if something else caused them to fail and it would do the same to new ones.

Next, do you think the information on my hard drive can be saved? I know, I should've backed it up, 20/20 hindsight. Can it be hooked up to another computer as a slave to pull the my documents folder onto CDrom?

Any other ideas or comments?

The company was there when they started, it'll thrive when they're gone. I've seen this several times at a couple different companies. It usually happens when someone feels like they are being treated unfairly and they either resign of just walk out. Usually they'll make a statement as they leave or we'll hear it from friends they've made at work. They always think the company will fold since they left, and it never does.

a paediatrician has seen my 7yr old boy she said she was referring him to an adhd specialist back in july but i havent heard anything yet. i have bin asking school for as long as i can remember to have him reassessed they say it was quicker to ask my gp so i did an im still waiting. how can i get him reassessed. before its too late. im so tired just feel there pushing him to a special school so they dont have to deal with him. help!!!

I had a c-section about 7 weeks ago and I still look 4 months pregnant. My daughter doesn't latch on properly so I am pumping the milk. I know breastfeeding helps the body lose the weight. I wanted to know if its the actual sucking that will help the hormones be released to help shrink the stocmach/uterus and can I get the same effect with breast pumping.

Ok.....they give you an initial velocity that a cannon ball is fired out of a cannon from and they give you a height for a cliff. They make you solve for time, horizontal distance, and final resultant velocity. They then ask, which of the following will be UNAFFECTED by a decrease in initial velocity.

I wasn't sure. I thought it was B, my friend said it's A and then I changed my mind but I'm still not completely sure...some people also said it's C, but for some reason I don't think it's C....any thoughts?

I'm a 6'2" 20 year old guy who has always been taller than everyone in my area, especially the females. My friends sister is 13 and already 6'0" tall. She is always wearing high heels when i am around. She has one pair of shoes that make her so tall that when I stand next to her I am barely taller than her shoulder(and i have to stretch to do that), she cant walk in those shoes very well but she tries. She is going to be taller than me without shoes soon enough, i have accepted that, but she seems to really enjoy making me feel uncomfortable. She has also told me that she wants to be at least 6'6" barefoot. I have watched her grow up as her brother and I have been friends since we started school. i never noticed her height untill one day i was helping thier mom move furniture, and we found an old height chart. My friends sister was 5'8" at 10 years old. Her brother was only 5'0" at 11. I was only 5'4" at 11. does anyone else have or has had a similar problem?

Here's my bio.

I have Asperger's Syndrome and OCD (and I suspect bipolar too but doc says no). I love the people in my life, but I find it difficult to care about them.

There was a time when I was very confused, I lost my religion, my mental illness was eating away at me. I know for sure I did a few bad things, but I was tricked into thinking (and I'm still not 100% sure they're delusions) into thinking I had helped terrorists, killed children, and all of the worst things you can think of because my OCD was so severe.

For a time, I had given up. I thought, "I've done all this sh*t, I'm a bad person. Now I'm going to wait until I die." But I thought, "No, I have gifts. And the people I love are still there. I have to forgive myself and move on."

So now I'm getting some psychiatric help, I've made some friends and I'm working hard at school. I'm 16. I try to be as honest as possible about what I'm going through

So, am I an a**hole or just a very disturbed, but good person
