Your brother needs to go to the folder that he wants to share, and then right click on that folder and click on PROPERTIES. In the properties menu, there is a security tab where you can click on "share folder" and it will let you share it with whoever is in the network.

Right-click the folder, and then click Sharing and Security.
Select the Make this Folder Private check box and make sure you TAKE OFF the checkbox so that the folder is not set to private anymore.

Then do the steps again and click on "share this folder" under the preference, security tab.

go to Start> My Computer, open it> Right click on the C drive, click on "Sharing and security"> Click the "Sharing" tab, check the box for "Share this folder on the network".

That should do it.

sounds like your C: drive is shared.
Set his C: drive up as shared
Open my computer, right click c drive, choose sharing and security, under sharing tab click circle next to Share this folder.
