other that those silly enough to believe the book the davinci code -- you have some wonderfully valid asnwers about Opus Die. it's never been a secret cult - while it's been humbly quiet - that is a mian premis of their culture - they do not say -- look at me look at all i sacrifice. there are no albino's and such.
so please i ask don't listen to those silly enough to belive a book of FICTION like the davinci code.

The Opus Dei was a secret society, like the Masons were, back in the days of Leonardo DaVinci. Read "The DaVinci Code" to learn more about them

It is a devotion to closely follow the Orthodox doctrine of the Catholic Church. Several members are professional people and they could be the laity or priests or nuns. There is nothing secret about them.
