ok. this really hot guy is acting strange around me, he knows i like him but he's starting to act like he likes me. i mean yesterday at the f-ball game he was standing behind his friend and peeking out from brhind them just to look at me. evrytime he did that we ended up making eye contact. then the next day at school i saw him getting his lunch. i know exactly where he normally sits. he normally has his backed turned to me. but today at school he is sittin a row down from where he normally sits and he was now sitting where he could face me. and i noticed that he kept on and on staring at me. does this mean he likes me...i hope it does. see i've talked to him quite a bit lately and he told me he was starting to like like me. im not sure if he's kidding or serious!!! yahoo people plz help me figure this out!!!!!!!!! hhhheeeellllppp! mmmmeeee

I've been trying to find information regarding the history of the equality symbol (=). The most I've been able to find after several days of searching is
"The equal symbol (=) was first used by Robert Recorde (c. 1510-1558) in 1557 in The Whetstone of Witte. He wrote, "I will sette as I doe often in woorke use, a paire of parralles, or Gemowe lines of one lengthe, thus : ==, bicause noe 2, thynges, can be moare equalle." Recorde used an elongated form of the present symbol."
Does anyone know something more informative (for example, how people showed equality before "=" was the equality symbol) or know of a web page where I could find such information?

according to the answerers of my last question, if you delete something off of itunes, when you hook up your ipod it will delete it off of there too. i unchecked the box for it to automatically do this. does this mean that i can delete stuff off of my itunes and still keep it on my ipod? i have too many cds to save them all on my computer.

a freind of my sister's saw a pic of me and asked for my number. My sister gave it to her and she texted last night at 8.40, but i didn't get in till nine 30 and only phoned back at five to ten ( after debating whether it was too late to call for 15 mins ! ) anyway,the message said nothing but "hi, your sister gave me your number, hope you don't mind me texting" So i phoned back at five to ten but it went on to answer phone, so i left a message saying who i was but i've heard nothing all day and its nearly nine again. For some reason i feel uncomfortable phoning again.Maybe it's because i've never actually heard her speak or maybe i feel it's her turn. So i ask the great yahoo public, do i wait or do i phone and sound desperate ?
