according to the answerers of my last question, if you delete something off of itunes, when you hook up your ipod it will delete it off of there too. i unchecked the box for it to automatically do this. does this mean that i can delete stuff off of my itunes and still keep it on my ipod? i have too many cds to save them all on my computer.

Yes if you have it set to manually manage songs you can delete all the songs off itunes without losing them from your ipod, however you will have to drag the songs over from itunes to ipod in your source list to transfer new ones over

umm...i think if you delete something off of itunes it wont delete it off your ipod unleess its updating ipod than i think it deletes it what i do is i customly put my songs in my ipod
