Really, having a strong opinion about something that you cannot change is a pretty big waste of time if you think about it. The smartest and most productive people I know are fairly apolitical. Either way you argue, the other side gets angry and hates you. I'm not saying we should sit back and let whoever's in charge do whatever they want, but spending hours talking about it is what's making it easy for other countries to be more productive than us. India and China's economies are both growing faster than ours, so maybe it's time for us to pull our heads out of our butts and actually do something useful instead of argueing. Any thoughts?

I signed a lease at an apartment complex. They changed who managed it 2 times. My original lease ran out for a 12 month period then goes to a month to month lease. The new management wants me to sign a new lease. I don't want to because I plan on moving out of state and don't want to be stuck in a 12 month contract. I know that they have to honor the previous lease regardless if they wrote it or not (they already tried to get me on that on). But they did say that it was illegal to be on a month to month in a rent controlled complex. I am not sure to believe them on this because I think they are just trying to get me in on the other lease. Is it illegal for a rent controlled apartment to be on a monthly lease?

My female started "dripping" this morning. I would leave her outside but we have dogs that wander around here and I don't want puppies, however, I have a baby in the house, and I don't want my carpet and furniture to get messed up, from her bleeding, is there anything I can put on my dog to "catch" the drips? or will she just chew it off? I don't have the money right now to get her fixed, it will get done, just can't until tax time.

I've been married for 3yrs & is blessed with an adorable little boy.The problem is im not in love with my husband.There was never any sparks to begin with..He was my best friend..even till this day.He dotes on me..he's a wonderful man but i just dont love him..The truth is im still yearning for my ex bf though deep in my heart i know we can never be together again cos its just too complicated ( hubby was my ex bf best friend ). My husband is just a rebound which gone too far.I love him as a person..as the father of my child but icant stand affections let alone intimacy.i know im being unfair to him..he deserves to be with someone who loves him dearly..i don't!!I went into the marriage thinking that i will grow to love him & eventually let go of the past.But i was so wrong.What should i do?Should i stay for the sake of my son ( he's 19mths & is so attached to his daddy) I feel terrible..i shouldnt be so naive.Now i'll end up hurting him n my son.Please help..Im so miserable..
