I am fourty five and look in my mid thirties. I act like I am in my early twenties. I also think about sex as much as a teenage virgin boy probably does. So how old am I really? Am I middle aged? Why does God allow everything in the world today to occur: famine, disease, disasters, war, poverty, destruction? Is this the work of a just God? I suppose a follow-up to this would be: Do you belive in God? Why or why not? Spiritually, I find myself teetering on the edge of my faith. It seems more and more to me that all I'm praying to is my mind. Any value to the Bible is moral and literary, and as a being, he just isn't there. Is God cruel? Does God care? Is God real?

If I put a down payment on a house, can I immediately begin renting it out, using that rent to help pay down the mortgage? Is this feasible or am I missing some dynamic? There must be a downside. Please help if u know something i dont. If its a stupid question remember im just 23 :)

I can't even imagine how this administration would have handled the disaster had it hit white,affluent neigbhborhoods. We can transport hundreds of military tanks to Iraq but we can't deliver water to poor people in the good ole USA.For all the black people that voted for Bush, when Katrina hit, Bush''s true colors showed up. The people of New Orleans were not treated as a priority. Is there anyone out there that is as sickened as I am. And they say Racism isn't prevalent.

is it possible to please your parents and please yourself at the same time when picking a major? I want to avoid the "you'll just end up working at walmart" speeches, and major in what I know i'll be good at and happy in, instead of what I know I'm not good in and will just be there to make money. I've tried talking it out, but i'm afraid I might have to go behind their backs and major in what I want and deal with the lack of support.
