Mobile pc's -Hp IPAQ 1710,do I need to buy a modem card to access the internet?

I've just bought a handheld hp ipaq 1710 and was under the impression that the built-in software(windows mobile 2003) enabled internet connectivity,but I've been struggling to connect,do I need a modem card?Or should I be able to connect with the built-in software?Why doesn't my laptop recognise the ipaq when I connect via the usb cable?I'd appreciate your advice!

help... ive got a preoblem with my friends pls help me?

ok... first of all, i have this friend (paulyn)... shes my classmate for lyk 3 years... every first term, were friends and every 2nd and 3rd term, were enemies... last year shes not my classmate but i had a nice friendship with sharina last year... she was also my classmate this yr... i met mitchelle... shes nice but she often tease ppl but, its ok for me i mean, i dnt tack it seriously!!... the 4 of us, (me mitchelle sharina and paulyn) were bestfreinds this yr. but it suddenly ended for lyk the last 3 weeks. it started with paulyn... paulyn was ditching me and also mitchelle.. i really dont lyk being ditched. so i decided to not hang with them anymore. it dosent mean that im mad at them... BUT paulyn thinked that im mad at them so they started to backstab me and spread bad rumers... i really want to be friends with them again.. but i dunno how..

Swallowing problem...?

Does anyone else have a problem swallowing food and drink and find it increasingly worse when people are around.. If so, what have you done about it and what is the outcome? I'm 16yr old girl & my height is 4.9 feet tell me what should i do for increasing my height ?

I was in 6th class when the girls problem ( periods ) was started .
At that time I was 11yr old & my height was 4.6 feet . Now I'm 16 yr old & my height is 4.9 feet. After the girls problem my height was increased to 2 or 3 inches but I want to increase my height atleast 5.5 feet because my younger sis. look elder than me .So please tell me what i have to do for increasing my height to 5.5 feet ?

why is my boyfriend so obsessed with my ex. who I still have to have contact because we have a son.?

He wont let me communicate with him the mention of his name brings arguments. he is really off with my son when he come back from his dad. My son brought hom some cakes and my boyfriend threw them in the bin saying he will not accept charity from him.I am trying to understand his point of view. but I have also been in his situation before. but I was ok with it. I am worrried my son will suffer cause my son really holds back on talking about his dad in case it upsets my boyfriend. I also have to send my son out to my dad without seeing him. I thought since we had a baby together it would be ok. but its not. once I had to go and talk to ex and my partner snatched our baby off me, He did not want ex to look at our baby!! I feel guilty but I have to talk to ex abourt our son behind his back.

i am getting irritated of getting teased!!?

k, ters a real nice guy, alex and everyone ones teasing me for 2 YEARS!! i have been patent and am gettin REAL bugged. I mena, i only lyk him as a friend...nothing else cause i licke another guy who also is teasing me!! i told my friends a million times but they are like "WE CARE....u are totally falling for him!!"... Im fed up...i have no one to talk to cause no one listens...Its like anyone else can talk to him and i cant.
