I have grey-blue eyes, and I have a natural tan, but not really dark. I am 14, yet I am only 5' (grrrr). My hair color is reddish-brown with a few natural highlights from the sun, but mostly brown. It isn't really dark though, kinda liglht-ish. Actually, here's a picture of me...

Basically I'm the short smart girl, who is cute. But I want to have a somewhat edgier appearence. (I just started 9th grade **HIGH SCHOOL!!!** on august 4th, and I've changed a lot during the summer (My bf of two years dumped me for what I thought was my bff) so I wanna show everyone that there's a whole different side of me besides sweet little Amber.

Also, if you can help me with a style, please help me with a budget- I have $20 from babysitting but that's it, and I want to know a good mascara that won't clump, eyeshadow, stuff like that, but NOT lipgloss *have 2 much*

I hang with my brother a lot, he is 21 i am 24, he has a lot of energy and is the more "out there" type. but it does kind of bother me when i am compared to him, how can i counter these things said to me? It just goes to show that looks is not what gets the chicks, but I don't think I am that bad at all.. only when he is around am I compared like this. argh how do i stop thinking about this

I had a good friends-w/ benifits-thing going with my best guy friend and he's been gone to basic training all summer. Now I'm really missing him, and I don't know at what level either. I know I love him as a person, friend, and lover, but I'm not sure if I really am in love with him or it's just from him not being around. i have birthmark dark brown the size of my fist on the back of my left leg. it makes me really self concious when im around my boyfriend.. ive tried to live with it.. but its just.. well.. THERE and almost everybody asks me "did you get burned" and i always have to explain. i have asked my parents for laser surgury but no.. its too expensive! im seeing if some fading cream will work. any other ideas?

I am not sure what exactly is going on. But I have been out a relationship since last september and it is about to be a year that I have not been with anyone. i think my problem is being a little to picky. I have had plently male friends but i keep getting rid of them bc they seems to be bad guys. I cant be with a bad guy whose on drugs or selling it or be clubbing all the time. I am more of the professional type. Men try to talk to me all the time and they cant figure out why I am alone. Men tell me that I am fine as hell and have a level head. I have had started talking to men in the past and they told me to not to waste my life on them because they are not any good. What would you do and what do I need to do. I have found one guy that I am actually interested in. He approached me first and we have been conversating and spending time together but I dont know what to do!
