I hope not cuz I can't reproduce either. I believe I have purpose, I could always adopt and raise a child to be a good person like myself, there are a lot of babies and children that need a good home. That could be our purpose. I volunteer for lots of causes in my town you could too! Also I'm sure your a great friend to many people and that is definitely a purpose! =)

I don't think we necessarily need a purpose. I just try to be the best person I can be for myself, my loved ones and my community. If the only reason for humanity was procreation then I - to borrow your words - would just be wasting air as I cannot have kids.
Life is what you make it.

Probably to discover our true selves and evolve toward a higher plane. Or, maybe come back to this one to live again and experiance things like love, hate, and everything else that people do. And yes, to reproduce. It's fun, what can i say?

Our purpose is to change the world by changing ourselves. Forget ourselves and be of service to others. Of course, we have to provide for ourselves. After that, our family. Then God. We have an obligation to pursue truth in every aspect of our lives.
Oh, about the God thing. I'm not a nut case. I know that there is a God and that if you talk to him sincerely, he will answer. And besides, it's YAHOO ANSWERS. You get what you pay for.

Creativity,whether you are creating a new life,filled with wonder and awe and the promise for a brilliant future.Or something that brings forth an emotional or intellectual response.Be it a work of art,literature,or a new "machine".

I think reproduction was the main point along time ago. But today I think our purpose is to be use full to those around us.
Try to put more into life, than taking out.
giving and not leaching out of life.

well God created us in his image, and it also says that we are his beloved. I think thats pretty cool. That someone created us just to love us and to be loved. And im not saying we cant choose what to do in life cuz he made us all unique and like. He is there guiding us and eventually we all get a chance to experience him.
