The rare question I'll post about this subject, it's your lucky day.

We did not evolve from apes. Humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. Apes are not the parents. The parent was neither ape or human.

Why do people say we evolved from apes? We evolved with apes, yes. But we also evolved with every other creature on earth.

Do people think it's shameful to be related to "lowly" beasts? Do some people just feel the need to be higher and something special?

I don't think it's shameful to have evolved from something lesser. We're evolving, not devolving. And I think every living thing is noble or genius in some way. It's the balance that they bring to bring to nature that helps us survive. It's like an older person feeling ashamed to be younger. It makes no sense to me.

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, I'm genuinely interested.

Thank you.

I saw this on the web but cannot locate web site now. Need this for a trade show. This was actually a minature version of a large container that had a lid and could be filled with candy, etc. Sort of like a herbie kerbie type trash can with wheels only really small. Could sit this on your desk at the office.

I recently bought a nice quiet yearling mare. When in stall, she backs up against a wall and dumps, smearing down the wall, always in the same spot. When outside, she picks the barn door to do the same thing. How can I get her to stop that? It's the first thing I step in!

I am trying to get the college ball rolling. I am a 36 yr. old male and a disabled veteran. I recently found out that with my disability that I can go to college for basically free according to the Veterans Administration. The purpose behind this is to give me the capabilities to perform a job that will not be hindered by my disability. I had to leave a very good job with the railroad on account of my disability and currently I am at the biggest crossroad of my life. I would like to pursue a teaching degree with a health science thrown into the mix. Anyone with a similiar situation that could lend a old guy some help?

Thank you,

JD

My parents have wanted a grandchild for a long time, and I was just never ready. This is my first, and their first (I am the only child) so I want to makes this very memorable. My husband it excited about finding a creative way to tell them too. Also, his parents live 4 hours away, and it may be awhile before we see them again, so I am debating whether to tell them now or wait. Any suggestions?
