The fan in my bedroom is now broken. I went to pull the chain to turn the light on and the lighting portion of the ceiling fan just fell down. Now its hanging by some wires.

Any ideas on how I can go about fixing this problem?

My mother found this autographed sketch in the basement of her parent's plantation house in VA when she was a little girl. It is not in mint condition, has some water stains on it but is a Currier & Ives. Have not been able to find a replica of it on ANY web site and she is curious to how much it would be worth, if anything at all.

Is Lindsay inconsiderate of her fellow actors and the film crew? I say yes. She makes more money with one film than most people earn in several years. And that's including the people of the film crew. One would think that I person in her position would show some decency and some courtesy to those that work with her. If I came into work late every day and hung over, I'd be fired

hello, i am in school and i have extreme trouble paying attention in my graduate level classes (read: very difficult topics) ... i have once taken adderall but it was under an extreme circumstance and my doctor felt that i would benefit from taking it... once i was over the circumstance, i did not get another prescription bc i stopped school to deal with my grief...now i am back in school.. and i do not concentrate as well as the others around me since i am always looking around and daydreaming..but when i was on adderall, i was locked in, focused, and argueably took the best notes in the class! it was great! anyhow, i am not sure that just any doctor will give me a class 2 narcotic/drug...so i need help bc i really think that i will not do as well without the ability to concentrate as well! thanks

I live in a smaller 2 br 1 ba house with a unfinished basement. However I have something in almost every outlet and it continually blows the breaker the second i turn on an appliance etc. Does the actual breaker itself need to be replaced? If so is that something that I can do or do I have to call an electrician?

I download music from a site and I pay a monthly fee. How do some of the sites offer it for free? I thought they were suing people downloading for free, for infringement rights. I've read where they have. So if you're downloading for free, isn't that stealing?

When I was 2 years old I was attacked by a fighting rooster and every since I have been scared of birds ,my family thanks it is funny. I still have two scars on my arm where the bird got me. that night we had chicken. the owner of the bird was mad. I am 33 years old know. The fear is really bad. tired of people thanking that is funny.

we are not very close, but i know she's the only way i can get to a doctor. ive been depressed for many years mostly because of my own family and i dont know how to talk to them about it. i've tried before and its just been put aside or they havent listened. i have also have a seizure and reoccuring panic attacks that i cant rid myself of.. i dont know how to communicate this to her.

I don't agree with their actions or sympathize with their cause. I just think to call anyone involved with Hezbollah a "terrorist" is misleading, considering their guerilla warfare tactics. Does any Muslim with a weapon qualify as a terrorist?
