Yes. Because he is someone I love. I am aware that some and maybe most people think it is just a word. But it is like someone yelling your mother's name or connecting it with some other expletive like, Mom dammit. It sounds silly, but it offends my spirit. I have stopped watching movies because of it. I do tolorate a little because it is there. I am thankful that I my place of business does not allow it. (I am in banking).

Nope, doesn't bother me at all. They are just words and they have no meaning to me whatsoever. My mom, on the other hand, is very upset if I say Geez or Bejesus because they take Jesus' name in vain. I don't care if a movie has expletives, even with a deity's name. I do care if there is so much cursing that it detracts from the storyline for me.

Yes it does bother me but I don't stop looking at the movie or watching TV because of it. I turn the channel or put another movie in. I can't tolerate it because of my spirit would be vexed or grieved and know "What would Jesus Do?"

Not at all. In order for it to be offensive, you have to place importance in the word or concept. If you don't care about it, then it won't offend you. If it does offend you, try to think of why it offends you and how you can train youself so that it won't happen. If that doesn't work, just stop watching it yourself without interfering with the ability of other people being able to see it. Words are only offensive if you let them be.

It is not possible because there is no God. There is just the human condition of suffering and the ignorance of it. Wanting to please a God so that you may receive a reward or stave of punishment, this is unproductive to mental and spiritual growth. Take responsibility for you own actions, replace faith with wisdom and you will find life to become easier. Wisdom is the understanding of the true nature of things. A lot of people can be intelligent, wisdom comes from experience, experience for them selves. Ignorance's causes suffering, wisdom on how to do things for you self, find the cause of problems as they are, not how you perceive them. This is the true path to enlightenment.

Zeus no! I don't give a Ra about Buddhaing blasphemy because I don't believe in any Great Spirit, gods, goddesses, or any higher power that gives a Holy father about blasphemy, they'd definately have a sense of humor.

I don't like it. Once in a while I catch myself doing it, or about to do it, and then it really bugs me.
