I live in a smaller 2 br 1 ba house with a unfinished basement. However I have something in almost every outlet and it continually blows the breaker the second i turn on an appliance etc. Does the actual breaker itself need to be replaced? If so is that something that I can do or do I have to call an electrician?

If your main breaker is tripping, and you have aluminum wiring, the wire connections at the breakers may be loose. I had this problem over 10 years ago and all I did was tighten the connections at the breaker. My main house breaker has never tripped since. But I don't suggest doing this yourself unless you have experience. The best advice is to call an electrician. I just wanted to point out another possibility.

Cal an electrician. Breakers "pop" because of a load being drawn on the circuit that exceeds it's rated capacity (the breaker). It can be cause by a number of reasons which I see no sense in laboring here other than to just show off. Just call an electrician.

The best thing for you to do is call an electrician a real one not just
someone who knew how to connect wire and so on. He needs to
check your circuits, wire insulation, size of wires and your load
on that circuit. Do it soon before smething happen to your house wiring.

Strongly suggest you lighten up the load on the circuit...breakers pop for a reason..you are exceeding the capacity of the wiring, and that can be dangerous.
