Hi, I'm African-American and I have long hair...I wanted to know if I could use flat irons or will my hair be damaged? One beautician said it's fine for my hair, the other said it wasn't. Ughh lol does anyone know from experience or can help me in some way? When I used it once at a beauty salon it worked wonders lol

This is the email I recieved but I'm thinking that this happened last year.
This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that

recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is
in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on
Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be
certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth
in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as
60,000 years before it happens again.

I have been following a thread on Race which Police officers in the U.K are discussing on an online forum at the moment. There is specific reference to Chris Alders the youung Black youth who died in police custody what the IPCC described as an unlawful killing as welll as the Stephen Lawrence Enquiry. I am looking for people wiling to add their own posts with their own views on race and perhaps your own views on the deaths of the three BLACK boys. If you have a spare 10 minutes please read the thread under 'General Police Discussion' and the subgroup 'Will I still be Racist'

Anyone can contribute to the site...I am Black myself and have posted on there ...there are some skewed opinions...I'm not on commisiion ...but when do you get to an opportunity to argue your points with senior U.K police officers. the link for the online live forum is

I just read a few articles on ODD, if anyone has had personal experience with this disorder, I would love to know about it. I suspect 2 of my son's, but I'm not really happy with the medications that are suggested in treating it. Do I even approach their doctor with the possible diagnosis? Or do I go towards the therapy side of treatment. Any of you with PERSONAL experience please send me a few lines.

I am almost 37 weeks preg. am dialated to about 11/2 and have been for a lilltle wile any suggetions on how to get labor to go.
