I bought a used 86 v-6 w/85,000 miles. I drove it another 80,000. until the trans when out. but i loved the car , good on gas , comfortable ride.

I never had a 1990, but I had a 1968 cougar xr7 and it was a classic. Yes I like em.

My friend has a 1993 Cougar XR7 that he bought used and it's got plenty of miles on it and still runs great, and he's hardly ever done any repairs on it.... it's a shame that they don't make them any more, because there are few American cars that I can say that about...

I would have told you not to buy it because of the 3.8; engine. But the 5.0 is a lot better. Good luck.

It's old, it may cost you a lot of money in repairs.
Unless it was garage kept and only driven 100 miles a year by an old lady.

They are good cars, But I would have gotton a 93 and up. They are alot more better.

good cars. don't let anyone tell you american cars lack quality. they're better quality now than ever...they're the same if not better than honda and toyota. also, what engine does yours have?
