In the Middle Ages, Thomas Aquinas (philosopher, theologian, and doctor of the Church) and Idn Rushd/Averroes (philosopher, theologian, physician, and mathematician) each argued that both reason and faith are paths to truth. Can you provide an example that supports their claims?
