I have a lot of work to be done in my home involving drywall because large windows were sized down... recently a leak in the kitchen with mold growing caused a ceiling issue too... I bleached away the mold but the paint peeled back because someone had used two different paints (oil/water)...I think that spot needs to be cut out/replaced then I was going to peel all the other paint off of the ceiling... no more leaking--someone re-caulked things with roofing tar... but someone suggests just slapping new drywall on top of the existing ceiling drywall creating a whole new kitchen ceiling when re-walling the rest of the kitchen.... how will i ever know if there is a leak there again... this leak was apparently there for awhile before it was noticed because the paint cracked a bit, then i peeled it back and found the mold and wetness...there was no dripping... someone else said that doing this method can cause sweating between the two walls, like if done on walls instead of tear down...--??

This is the second year that when I planted tomatoes that the entire plant has died. It starts from the bottom, all the leaves and stem start to die. It looks like they are dring out but I give plenty of water. Then it works it way to the top of the plant and them it is completely dead.

This is a geographical observation, not a racial one.

The comparison equally applies to Asian-Americans versus Asians in Asia.

I'm referring to comparatively WELL-OFF Asian countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. Malnutrition or undernutrition are not problems in these places.

I just moved to the South from Chicago Illinois......I am in SC now. Why is it that everyone feels the need to correct my grammer! It is so annoying to have a person criticize me because I call coca cola "pop" just because they call it soda doesnt mean I am wrong. At least I dont say things like "Im a fixen to git her dun" who are these people to tease me........I speak properly, maybe I say things differently or have a strong Northern accent.........but I dont say things like "aint gonna git" or "I's gonna git me sum of them there taters" My neighbor is the worst.....everytime I go outside he comes out and tries to talk to me........he stops me every other word and corrects me........I dont want to be rude like he is but I dont know what else at this point to do.......I may hand him a dictionary and a grammer book the next time I go outside, maybe a toothbrush too.
