I was wondering if you would get a positive pregnancy test result just because you are breastfeeding. I am 9 weeks post-partum and am curious.

no...your pregnant! There is a chemical in your urine that the pregnancy test detects. It wont be positive if that chemical is not there. You can get a false negative but not a false positive.

No. Tests measure a specific pregnancy hormone. It would not show positive if there were no hormones.

If you are 9 weeks odds are the chemical is still in you body from the first baby. especially if you are still breast feeding.
