Telepathy really has no scientific basis, so as of now there is no proof of its existence.
Schizophrenia is something else entirely different. A schizophrenic may believe that they are hearing others' thoughts, though.

science has a problem proving such things because of the eclectic and oxymoronish type behavior.
You have to not overthink it, and not underthink it.
Im sure it does have a connection.
