I am looking for 2D software which can simulate a housing development. I wish to allow my users to create maps and then simulate traffic conditions, density etc. I guess I could do it in Java, but that would take forever.

Fizzies were a soft drink that you made by dropping an Alka Seltzer size tablet into a glass of water. It was delicious! Are they still made?

So she's adopting kids that need a good home, sorta helping them out in life. She's showing how humanitarian she is, but my question is, why not adopt American children that need adopting, there are so many that need homes and she goes to other countries to get them.

I have a fixed (ie no hinges) window seat 9ft x 2ft, that goes from wall to wall (all 3 surrounding walls are of cedar timber panelling).

The obvious way to upholster it would be to remove the lid, place foam on top and staple the material underneath it....but I cannot remove the lid as its been screwed on in a hundred places (I know because I watched the carpenter make it) and the lid is comprised of 2 x 12" wide planks.

I'm am unsure of how (or where) to staple the material to...eg on the wall panelling or on the lid? The lid does have a 1" lip, so I can staple under that to finish it off neatly. Do I start at the front, sides or back of the window seat?

And.....would it be better off longterm to go for leather, velvet (velour) or some other material....as its exposed to light most of the day but not direct sunlight? I'm not keen on cotton, fake leather or patterns.

If we have an upholsterer on board, I'd appreciate the input. Cheers, Tracy!

Special Education question

Early in my professional career, I worked with both moderately and severely impacted Special Education adults in a sheltered workshop setting. Occasionally, I would hear that a client was victimized in a retail store by a clerk who gave him short change, thus taking advantage of his disability. Are there any agencies, aside from contacting the police, that protect the special ed population in California?

I'm a marketing consultant as well as a freelance events organizer so you can say that it's practically in my blood to take care of things, organize this and that etc...anyways, the story is...my boyfriend's friends have planned to go on a trip to a nearby island, fortunately I have a house there and I offered to plan everything for them. Of course everyone knows how it is between friends to get answers on time, who's going who's not bla bla bla...well one of his friends called (my boyfriend) and was asking questions like this and that and my boyfriend was like, I dunno, I dunno...so that frustrated me coz' at least he should have remembered what the intinerary said, anyways I got upset that he couldn't remember thus making his friend like 'what the hell?'...and so my voice sort of got louder and louder in frustration to the point where his friend could hear...so he thought that I was blowing my mind off at him for his repetative questions...now, the whole gang knows. I'm wrong right?

I just graduated highschool and am considering to be an art major. My perception of the artist is just of a social deviant who attempts to be deep, but comes off as being superficial. I don't want to become like that. I don't really admire others' works, but I enjoy painting. I'm not deeply passionate about it though, but I recognize painting as my greatest talent. Any advice.
