If you convert from christainanity to..... lets say over to scientology. or protestant to catholicism or judaism to islam, any number of choices and reasons.... like marriage... but why do peolpe do this .. i dont understand because what i believe is what i believe.. and no one can make me believe otherwise "cuz thats what i believe"

the most recent of the fizzled out movements being punk.

now, before anyone's 14 year-old fingers start typing furiously "PUNX NOT DED! L05ER!" I want to you really think about it. im not talking about whats pre-packed and shining in a storefront, im thinking more along the lines of DIY, self reliance kinda stuff... the good bits, if you will.
why has that faded? where did it go?
is that why kids today are so "bored"? they watch tv, neglect the sun, and are so fat im surprised their sausage fingers can still grasp PS2 controllers.
where is the new revolution to kick our teeth in? punk beat the crapola out of the rock scene, whats coming to rip this bullshit emo scene's throat out?
im here, im ready to go, if i can find a group of people who aren't retarded by the mantra of "consume, consume consume"

I find it ironic that people bash Jesus so much? I mean back in his time he was practically persecuted for being a rebel and hanging around with rebels (and disliking the high priest and calling them hypocrites). Yet today, no other religion is more widely picked on than His religion? Why not Buddah or Alah? Really, why Jesus?

My parents recently got a new phone service and number. About a month into their use, friends and family began to tell them that my parents' number was showing up as private on their caller ID's. They didn't set it to private in the first place, and nothing the phone company recommends seems to be working. So I did some research and found out about a specific code you dail before your number to unblock all outgoing calls. Does anyone know what this code is for Virginia (or Chesapeake, Virginia if it functions on a city-based network)? Thank you ^-^

ok 1 of my friends gave me her girl cat named Lily and me and my mother already had a boy cat named casper and well we brought Lily home to our house and well casper wasn't to happy about that. lily was trying to avoyd fighting but casper kept on geting closer so she poked her claw in his nose................IS IT NORMAL FOR THEM TO FIGHT? and even if it is normal.......THEY WON'T STOP...............

Homeland Security has a very specific purpose. It was created to coordinate the efforts to defend the U.S. of internal and external threats, however, it has created a huge bureacracy whose most important qualification is to be a "patriot". Doesn't anybody see the fact that it perpetuates itself, creates new jobs, new allegianges among the "initiated" and does business for billions of dollars by fostering paranoid fear among the American people? Why has it taken over functions traditionally performed by the FBI, the NASA, the CIA, and local police? Does it have to do with the scope of the threat and the need to coordinate efforts, or is it just another naked power grab? Are there any other similar instances in past world history? Could any one illustrate them?
