The radio has 4 small holes in the front is there a tool i need to use to remove this so i can put a better system in the car? or do you know of a website i can go to with directions on how to remove the radio. I don't have a service manual with this car. Thank you all for any answers.

cut a coat hanger in 2 small peices about 8 inches long bend them so the holes on each side go into your deck and push a little to release the stoppers on the side at the same time pull your deck out evenly but only far enought to unplug the wiring harness and antenna install new harness and replug antenna. all set to go

To remove this radio, you will need a set of 'Ford factory radio removal tools'. These can be purchased at WalMart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. Simply place the removal tool (one on each side) and bend outward slightly. Pull back on the tools, and the radio should slide right out.

what you're looking for are two U-shaped hooks, they sell them at almost any automotive store. once you get them use the 4 holes and that will let you pull out the radio. I did the same thing with my ford truck.
