I work in dubai and know a Russian sheila who converted to islam to marry a dubai man. She lives in dubai now and shares her man with his 2 indonesian muslim wives, and she covers herself with a black Abaya and runs around.
The hubby uses her as a punching bag, but she still says its allah's bloody will that she suffer.
would any of you ladies here put up with such abuse ?

Whenever she is angry or in a bad mood, she always takes out her angry my kicking my knees and stepping on my toes. My legs are covered in bruses and my feet are always in pain, so what can I do? I have tryed talking to her and i always get the usual "I'm sorry honey, i didn't mean to. I'm horrible i know. I swear i will never do it again...blah blah" and she never means it. So How do I make her stop? Kick her back? I would but my morals say that violence doesn't solve anything. Please Help.

I have a Table in Access.
In a column of the table there are data for date and time combined with the following format: YYYY.MM.DD hh:mm:ss
For example 09.03.2006 12:35:12
I need to convert this column into YYY.MM.DD only, that is, to take out the time stuff. How can I do that??

Galatians 4:27 For it is written: "Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband."
The illustration in chapter 4 is comparing Hagar the bondwoman to Sarah the woman of promise. But Sarah has a husband so why would this quote originally coming from Isaiah be directed to her? She had a husband.

Finaly they decided after huge voiting that the Bangladeshi's is are the happiest nation in the world. Although they are poor in general but happy. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed that a medium-sized branch on my potted lemon tree had torn 2/3 through. The weight of an unripe lemon (which has since been removed), together with gusts of wind, probably caused the damage. To save the branch, I splinted it with toothpicks, wrapped it in masking tape and then with strips of horticultural fleece. To my astonishment, this very branch is showing leaf buds! Is it then possible that the tear will mend, i.e. knit together like a broken bone? It seems like this might be the case, but what do you think?
