Yeah, ive gotten a few. Mainly the ones where there is a little thingy at the top of the page on the screen, like a blocked pop up. Also the ones that wont let you go back to the search engine when you click the back page (you have to click it many times in quick succession to get it to listen to you) i am weary of. Alot of he websites with porno ads on the side give your computer viruses too.

Ever heard of the phrase nothings for free.

Yes in the past I was caught. I know alot more about computers now though and avoid those type of sites.

Those lyric sites work in combination with smiley central, and other companys that pop up on your screen and implant cookies, spyware, malware, trojans, hijackers etc into your computer.

That is the purpose of the site giving you lyrics for free. The site is funded/paid for by those companies so that we unknowingly go for song lyrics and bang they have got us.

Although we have a popup blocker they have gone a cunning way around things and made the pop up adverts appear to be part of internet explorer and that is why the popup blocker lets those ones through.

When you see flashing adverts telling you you have won something or smileys talking run your cursor over the top of the area and it will display down the bottom of the page the companys website, name, origin. Anything with doubleclick, fastclick, smiley central, tribalfusion, ads. something or , service switching stay clear of.

Good Luck
