Apparently everyone will have this. I have been on this planet for 50 years and still nothing. How long do I have to wait?

Well it wasn't 15 minutes. It was more like 2 minutes. But a couple of years ago, I was walking around a shopping center on my lunch hour, and a local news station was there with a camera. The guy approached me to ask what I thought about the Fall weather - it was October. I told him that Fall / Autumn was my favorite time of year since I love the cool crisp air, blah blah blah. Apparently they liked what I said, which was nothing really, and put me on the six o'clock news - you know the part on the end when they're filling up time. I never got to see myself on it, since I didn't record it. But several people who know me called to say they saw me on TV. Not a very exciting moment of fame, but it's all the fame I ever had.

i've had many 'fifteen minutes of fame' and hope i get more- i'm a professional actor and musician and i need to be known in order to generate work. i don't want to be famous as such, but i'd like to be known by the right people as someone who is good at what they do. i don't think your fifteen minutes necessarily come to you, i think you need to do something big that you can be recognised for.

Generally you get this when you are young & dumb. A story in the paper that you pray no one will read..and of course everybody does.
