No, don't lower your expectations. That's the last thing you should do. I will share what has helped me because I was same, and kind not going in the direction I wanted and fast enough.

The first thing I did, is I found myself a mentor in the same field of business. Some way successful. Then I made regurlar counsel. I sat down, and he helped me to plan. It was upto me the to go out and make it happen.

The first thing he taught me, is first:

1. FIgure out what is you want. What is your Definite aim, your big - WHY? It has to be something that moves you emotionally and sets you on fire. Yes, money can do it but it won't work alone. You have to attached the Money with desire i.e. you want to be out of debt, you want to pay the mortgage off fast, or you want to travel, or you want to be Time and Money free. Do you reall know what is your dream? Now, is the time to find out.

2. Now, u write the exact figure you want. Write down first the 6-12 month goal, say, £20,000 net profit turnover. I am just giving example. You can aim high as you want. It all depends on you, your self image. I put £100,000 net profit.

3. Write now your long term goal, say 2-5 years, what is the exact income you want.

4. Now, get a board, put the board in your bed room. Put these goals everywhere. In your pocket, in your diary, in your note pad, and I even put it under my tie. I didn't care what anyone thought. I was going to keep remembering the goals.

5. Write down what you are willing to give to make it happen. You don't get something for nothing. What is it your willing to give up and do? Less TV, more showing presentation? More networking? More calls? Get over the fear of calling? Get over the negative attitude in your mind and feel the fear and do it anyway, with blind faith? You mention the price.

6. Now, write down a statement - saying:

My exact amount for the next 6-12 monthsw is ______. I will achieve this at this date _________. I will do (mention what you're going to do. Your precise plan to create more clientle, get your business moving.

7. Now give a copy to your mentor. He or she will look at it and tweak it.

8. Read the statement, when you get up and before you sleep. Why. Let me say something here. People who are successful, all of them will tell you, that the subconcious mind is power for your success. Your success is determined to shape your mind to think success, and you must think it, visualise, talk it, see it before it has happened and believe it. It MUST GIVE YOU A BUZZ. So if you get side tracked, you visualise again before going off with negative thoughts.

9. Now, put the action into it whether you are ready or not. Do it with blind faith. Go crazy with it. Visualise your goals and make it an obsession. No successful entrepreneur succeeds without being obsessed about his ideas, his business and his or her vision!

10. The final part, the most important of all. Keep in contact with your Mentor daily. Be accountable to your business. Your mentor is like a helicopter hovering above you. You may see the challenges coming, or the hurdels, or the mistakes, but they can from a far and can direct you fast.

That's what I did. It worked but I had to change internally. No ego, asked when I needed advise. Admitted I needed to read more books on self developement, leadership, goal setting because business isn't about business.

It's about people no matter what it is, and one needs to be smart in people's skills.

Looks like you really want to succeed and you will. What I shared with you, is in every book that teaches the 17 principles of success. People read a lot but the leaders are not neccessary good readers, but readers can be great leaders. Why, they don't read for sake of reading. They take notes, they reflect, the always look at their goals, they always put their hands up fast for help, and they will always put action.

When you can go home, and put your head on the pillow and you're gone, period, sleeping; then you know, you're really building the business.

Go for it. You just need some tweaking here and there. It maybe something you just missed. But a mentor will see it, if you are truthful. Don't hide a thing. There's no big deal. This is your future, you want to succeed and so, look in the mirror.

Remember, when you read the statement u written - feel it, visualise it. Take time to visualise your company, your business, your success in your mind and if you get this excitement in you, then, you know you got it right.

Lower your expectations to a daily limit but allow the monthly or annual expectations of success to remain high. Then celebrate each days success with a little private party all your own.
