I need some information about birth control I have a prescription for it, but I am sort of confused, I know that it tricks the body to think you are pregnant, and it doesn't help with STD's or HIV, but you take a different pill for one week, are you on your period that week or do you not have a period at all. This is kind of embarassing since I know I should know this, but I have always been a little confused. Thanks for your help, serious answers only please!:)

The land moves a little at the moon's gravitational pull. The oceans move a lot, with tides lifting or beaching boats, or water lines surging high or retreating sometimes miles away from shore in places. But what of the air? Does the air get thinner and the atmosphere higher during a lunar tide, or does the upwelling water squish the space, causing a higher atmospheric pressure when the tide is high? How would we know? If the sweep of water swells as the tides follow the moon around the planet, does that then displace air and cause winds or storms? How would we know? The mechanics of water tides is well known and recognized for centuries, but no one talks of the moon's effect on the air.

im not stereotyping any gender when it comes to this question because man or woman -- there is always the possibility to cheat. i've met many people who have cheated on their spouses because they're looking for something that their spouses can no longer give (read: sex). but when i ask them "why don't you separate with your spouse then? give them and yourself a chance to move on and find someone who can satisfy you?" they'd say "i still love him/her" then i'd ask "if you love this person, why did you cheat then?!" -- i don't think sex is an acceptable reason for cheating. obviously, these people didn't marry for love, but for lust. because if you love a person, no matter how imperfect he/she is... you'd never replace him/her with somebody else. so why do married people cheat (well not all of course.) instead of cheating, why not just separate with their spouses?

To Jehovahs Witnesses that are truly Witnesses: I just very recently wandered upon this site. I as a general rule don,t talk to anyone on the net unless I know them. I thought I could offer help to those asking about God. It seems this could be very depressing to Witnesses, what about apostates, it seems like there are some here toying with minds, isn,t this a dangerous place for True Brothers and Sisters to be? We should all give it a very deep second thought and help those we can see face to face, I,m very concerned about this. Are we exsposing our self to unnecessary ridicule? I,ve been baptised since 1986 and the world is getting worse we all know this, maybe this is getting to envolved, Please enlighten me on your feelings about this, Ps. I,m disabled and unable to go out as much as I would like but I write alot of letters to interested ones and go out in Ministry at least once a week and go to all the meetings. please only kind answers to this serious question are we helping?

I am a very poor artist. I am also blessed because while I paint and raise our seven children, my husband provides for our financial needs. But even still, with our "little family" we are quite in the area of "poverty level." I want to contribute to our financial income by selling my work. I paint and create Christmas ornaments. The problem is, the supplies are quite expensive. Most everything that I can paint on I find around the house, outdoors, or from thrift stores. But finding good quality brushes is another story. I use q-tips, toothpicks, make up brushes and ribbon to paint often, but sometimes, I truly need a good brush. So I thought of my resources and realized I give hair cuts to my kids every month. Do you think its possible to use human hair to create a paint brush? And if have done this before, you could provide instructions or a link? Thank you!
