hi all
my uncle served under the eagle and he never really talked until since he came back from serving in vietnam. he saw the whole fall of saigon. he died just over 2 weeks ago. id like to see what influneced his life so much - i never really took an interest being a girl in this sort of thing before.

So, this summer in about 2 weeks. I will be flying over to Vietnam for vacation. I've heard alot of people getting sick from eating the food. A few of my friends told me to drink bottled water only and drink coconut juice to help my stomach.
Do you guys have any other suggestions? That i can do or eat to avoid having stomach problems, i my self have a weak stomach so this trip might be one hell of a trip.

There has been a controversial debate of human origin all over the world - I think it is very interesting to post this question
Here are some background :
- Vietnamese civilization is heavily influenced by Chinese but remarkably instinctive
- Regardless of religions(Buddhism, Christian, Confusism ...) Ancestral belief is widely practiced by Vietnamese Kinh(I'm not sure about the ethnic minorities)
- 'DeathDay' is more important than 'BirthDay'
- Hung Vuong by recorded history !
- Most Important but understandably Neglected : The Legend of Au Co & Lac Long Quan (how do we understand the Unity & the Separation)
...
There are so many more
