Thank you to all who answered to my question, this is my first time using & I don't know how to respond?

Anyway, just a few more questions: Based on the answers, sounds like Kent & surrounding areas are not such a good idea. Will living in Bellvue & traveling s to Kent be really bad traffic? Are there ANY good traffic rountes to Kent?

Do the days show ANY peep of sun or is it sold gloom/rain & on the days when the sun does comes out does it stay?

What is the fashion trend like out there...only rain jackets & unbrellas?

I am looking for a late 30's early 40's couples, social neighborhood ie..ladies night out, non-working women, day shopping & coffee. Do both husband & wife usually work? Are there any stayhome moms?

Oh, & when it snow's, how much & does it stay long?

Any other comments welcome!! Thanks you in advance for your answers.

We have a job opportunity in Kent, Wa & would like to know the best place to live in the area. We've never been there & hear only about the daily rain. We currently live in Pasadena, Ca & love the warm weather. Will we be in major depression because of the climate? We have lived in Denver, Co and just loved it!!! We are looking for a family, dog friendly, social community. We are in are early 40's. Any suggestions/comments welcome.

Can anyone recommend a clean, reasonably priced hotel near SeaTac airport. We are only going to stay one night but need safe and secure parking at hotel for about a week as we are leaving our car there. We also need a shuttle service to the airport from the hotel.

I am flying up from San Francisco and staying downtown. I like rock shows and drinking beer. Are rock clubs far outside of downtown? Also, I like history and stupid tourist things a bit also. Is a foray into Vancouver worth the effort? There were some good bands that came out of Olympia, does that mean there are good clubs there that are worth going to on a weekend trip?

gracias

My son is going for surgery in seattle. My husband and I were thinking we will go a few days early so we can see some things. however this was a quick planned trip. My son is 3, He is not limited to waht he can do. My husband and I are 22. Keep that in mind. What would be interesting to see or do in the seattle area. I know we want to see the space needle and zoo and visit the ocean. I am trying to mostly think of things to see to save a little money but keep us well entertained. any ideas welcome! thank you!

We are moving to Washington state in March. We are interested in buying a house close to the Navy base, but do not know much about the area.

Anyone have websites, pictures, ideas on what areas are good for raising families, living, working, etc...We need a well rounded area...or would we be better off living in housing?
