Since I just moved from the Puget Sound, right next to Seattle, I would have to say.........
1. Awesome Coffee! No place else can match it! And the convenience of it all!
2. The beautiful snow capped mountains in your back yard in the spring and fall.
3. Mount St. Helens! Being able to see it from hundreds of miles away is so awesome! It is very cool to walk out your front door and just stand there staring at the mountain that is full of snow all year!
4. The bridges-Lots of bridges and cool looking ones at that!
5. Tourist Attractions-Pike Place Market! Ohhh! A must go to if nothing else!
6. The Northern Cascades, just a short drive away! Beautiful!
7. Canada is so close to you to visit frequently!
8. The greenery-The grass is such a brilliant green all year because of the dampness.
9. The awesome seasons-Summer is summer and winter is winter.
I could go on forever. I loved it there! Not as depressing as I ever thought or was told. It is absolutely beautiful there!
First source is pike place market, second is the northern cascades national park, and the third is mount st. helens! Enjoy!

Floating bridges, Sharp Space Needles, the Science Center laser shows and the EMP, Pike Place Market a bronze pig and flying fish, windy, rainy, crashing waves, riding on the rolling fairies, massive traffic jams, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains, liberal, open minded, coffee addicted, electric buses no parking, green or gray a slave to the cold and damp weather, the Seahawks, Mariners and Sonics and the years and years of losing, parks of grass and the Woodland Park Zoo, miles of concrete and feeding the ducks, my family and my little girl, all the lost dreams sunk beneath the Freemont troll. This is my home, my Seattle.

The seagulls sqawking in the morning with the fog coming off of the Sound,
The view of Downtown from Alki,
The Fremont Troll,
Kurt, Mother Love Bone, SoundGarden, Eddie, MudHoney
Flannel, Corduroy,
WA State Ferry,
Island Video on Greenwood Av,
The fact that there is no Wal-Mart in the City limits
Crocodile Cafe, Showbox,
Mia Zapata {may she rest}
UDub,
The way people want you to think they're so hard, but help you in a heartbeat,
Bruce and Brandon Lee in Lakeview,
Jimi, just outside the Limits,
That beautiful constant, or threat of, rain that people complain about but miss when they're gone,
And on and on and on.....

The Space Needle of course. On the icky side: rain, giant slugs, gooey(sp.) ducks(really big long neck clam-like creatures that are indigenous to the Puget Sound area) and Pike St. Market with the "flying" fish. And of course these days one must mention coffee houses.
