I realize there are a variety of opinions, but we are struggling to pick a hotel. We want newer rooms, nicely appointed, with sitting areas so we can visit each other (4 sets of couples going). One wants a view of the strip, another insists on a casino in the hotel, all agree it must be in the center of it all.

In about 2 to 3 years, I will be turning the big 2-5 and I would like to go somewhere nice to celebrate it. I was thinking about Las Vegas since I have been dying to go there. I would like to do something big since I didn't do anything much for my 21st bday.

Do any of you have an suggestions how to celebrate a big birthday in Vegas on a tight budget? I would like to go out to a club one night as well while I am there. Also, what is a cheap hotel that is also really nice to stay in? I will turn 25 Oct 18, 2009 if that is of any help.
BTW, the reason I am asking this so far in advance is that I could have time to plan this out. Thank you all very much!
