June is not one of the busier months because of the heat. But still busy at the pools.
I just stayed at South Point Resort Casino. On Las Vegas Blvd - about 5 miles south of the Luxor. Obviously, not in the midst of things, but a great new hotel/casino with a great pool. Not crowded since it is off the main strip. Room was $60 for weekdays. Plasma TV's on the walls in each room. 64 lane bowling alley, equestrian center, and a big movie theater ( 8 or 12 screens). Nice restaurants and buffets. Lots of casino gaming. It was busy - but now crowded. They have a shuttle that runs to the strip on a regular basis. Or for the money, rent a car and have the mobility to go wherever.
Good luck - have fun.

Fat chance. It'll be pretty hot here by June and a lot of people will be visiting (oh goody -- more traffic for me!).

If you consider hotels away from the Strip you might have a better option.

EDIT:

The guy below me is seriously clueless. Recession. Psssh. The only issue Vegas might have is the number of tourists since they're turning this place into a millionaire's playground. The hoity-toity high rollers can bite me.

From the 28th of May until June 22nd, it's slower than usual in LV.

Choose a hotel with a large pool area such as the Flamingo or Monte Carlo.
