Tip >$1 per drink is pretty standard.

The best place to get free drinks is to sit at the bar and play video poker. You have the bartenders right there, you don't have to wait for a waitress to come around take orders, disappear for a while and then eventually come back with your drink.

My favorite place(for the cocktail waitresses) is the Orleans. best looking girls with the hottest outfits in Las Vegas.

My favorites place to play, watch sports and drink free is the Super Sports Book at the Las Vegas Hilton. They have great video poker(9/6 JOB) >at least 27 Nickel machines and even more at the Quarter level. The cocktail waitresses at the LVH are not anything like the ones at Orleans but the Sports book is a great place to watch the games.

I tip $1 for a drink. You will get more drinks if you play tables games rather than slots. If you do not tip your waitress you probably will not get another drink. All Casinos seem to be about the same also

I have had no trouble at any casino getting free drinks. I find you get more when you play the tables -vs- slots. I usually tip every round but only about $1. Iave that extra bit you get when you hit black jack for them...lol
