For an inexpensive but very entertaining show, I would recommend the Mac King Comedy Magic show at Harrah's. If you go to the players rewards club counter in the casino and ask for discounted tickets, it only comes up to $10/person and that price also includes and drink. An added bonus is getting to the front of the line immediately. One thing to note is that Mac King is an afternoon show at 1pm and 3pm. Otherwise, I highly suggest Cirque du Soleil's Mystere at Treasure Island, O at Bellagio or Zumanity at New York New York. I have also heard great things about the Blue Man Group. Have fun!

I'd go with Blue Man Group (at Venetian) or Mystere' (At Treasure Island) or Penn & Teller (at Rio). They're not dirt cheap, but worth the money, IMO. Danny Gans (at Mirage)and O (at Bellagio) are other good ones, and I keep hearing good things about KA at MGM Grand. Many people I've talked to are totally disappointed in Zumanity (at NYNY).

The other thing to look at is to see who's doing limited engagments in Vegas when you're going. I know Ray Romano is doing shows, as is Jay Leno. So, if you know when you're going, keep checking the events calendar at www.lasvegas24hours.com or www.vegas.com

If you don't want to spend $100 per person or more on show tickets in LV, you can go to a discount ticket seller when you get there. They usually sell tickets for about half off to fill up empty seats in that day's shows. If you get there in the morning to buy tickets, there usually is a wide variety of good shows with tickets available.

The discount ticket sellers have stores right on the strip.

Lots of shows in Vegas are good but you bring up a good point...which ones are worth the high prices they charge....lets see if I can help:

-Ka'
-Zummanity
-Amazing Jonathon
-Penn & Teller
-Danny Gans
-Steve Wyrick
-Phantom Of The Opera
-Lance Burton

Now for good shows but in my opinion not necessarily worth the price:

-O
-Blue Man
-Rita Rudner
-LOVE
-Carrot Top

Try to get tickets online if you can. You will save money that way.

You probably wont appreciate it as much, but your girlfriend would probably love Celine Dion. This is her last season in Vegas. I went with my mom last month and it was an awesome show. I bought the tickets at ticketmaster.com.

Browse other available shows that may strike your fancy at www.vegas.com.
